Working times: 32.5 hours a week (5 x 6.5 hour days, 8.20am to 3.40pm). Term time + 1 week. 50 minutes unpaid break per day.
Contract term: 1 year fixed term position, with the possibility of the position being made permanent
Start date: Immediately, subject to successful candidate’s availability / notice period


The King’s Academy is a unique, inclusive mainstream school with three specialist SEND provisions for students with vision impairment, students who are Deaf/hearing impaired and students with Higher Learning Needs.  We are seeking to appoint a number of experienced Classroom Support Assistants to work within our SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) team.

Candidates will require energy, initiative, integrity and commitment to our vision and Christian ethos. They will have high expectations for students with SEND and will work under the direction of teaching staff to encourage independence in our students as they prepare for their next stage of education and adulthood.
