Salary: MPS to UPS3 (£25,714 – £41,074) + SEN Allowance (£2,270/£4,479 dependent on qualifications & experience)
Contract term: Part-time, 1 year fixed term position, with the possibility of the position being made permanent
Start date January 2022


We require, for January 2022, an enthusiastic Teacher of the Deaf to join our Sensory Team. The King’s Academy has an Additionally Resourced Provision for Deaf and Hearing Impaired (DHI) students.

The King’s Academy is a unique, inclusive secondary school, benefitting from 3 specialist provisions for students with a range of SEND needs. In addition to our DHI additionally resourced provision, we also have a resourced provision for students with Vision Impairment and a support base for students with Higher Learning Needs.
