Summer School

Summer School Success – August 2023

During the summer break, we invited our new Year 7 students to participate in a transition summer school. Over 30 students attended each day and took part in a range of lessons and activities including Art and Computer Science projects, Food, History, Drama as well as core subjects.

Our new students really appreciated the opportunity to make new friends before the start of term and the chance to get used to the building, staff and routines. Harry recommended summer school to new students next year; “Summer school will boost your confidence!” and Sophie stated that “Summer school makes ordinary school extraordinary”
