During Wednesday Period 6 and 7, the Sixth Form students have a unique opportunity to choose an enrichment activity every term to broaden their awareness and experience of the world, whether through adding additional skills via MOOCs, Beginners German or Work Experience, exploring their creative side in Arts and Crafts, Photography or Ceramics, or relaxing with exercise such as Football or Yoga. Enrichment provides a wide range of CV and UCAS application enhancing activities.

Activities change from year to year, and we survey Sixth Form to ascertain their interests. Recent activities include:

Community Action Week

Every year, once the examination period is over, Year 12 spend a week serving our local community. We offer a wide range of placements that include community gardening projects, working in care homes and primary schools, helping in charity shops, volunteering in James Cook University Hospital, and many more. This is very much a key feature of our Sixth Form, allowing our students to experience the enjoyment that comes from helping others and putting into action our core values, as well as giving something back to the local community.
